Additional rules that apply to organisations advertising vacancies.

Version: Draft for review

Placeholder wording. This document is a draft prepared for review by a qualified legal practitioner. It does not constitute legal advice and is not a final, binding agreement.

1. Genuine vacancies only

Every vacancy you publish must be a real, currently open role with an identifiable employer. Listings that advertise training, pyramid schemes, commission-only recruitment of other members, or roles that do not exist are prohibited.

2. No fees from candidates

You must never request payment from a job seeker for an interview, application, training, uniform, placement or continued consideration. This results in immediate removal and may be reported to the authorities.

3. Fair recruitment

Job adverts must not discriminate on grounds prohibited by Zimbabwean law. Requirements must be genuinely related to the role.

4. Verification

To display a verified badge you must submit accurate registration details and supporting documents. Providing false documents is a serious breach and may result in permanent removal.

Material changes to verified details are re-reviewed before the badge continues to display.

5. Candidate data

Applicant information may be used only to assess candidates for the role they applied to, or for other roles where the candidate has agreed. You must store it securely, must not sell or share it, and must delete it when it is no longer needed.
